NEW WORLD RECORD FOR PISTORIUS
South Africa's Oscar Pistorius set a new world record for 400 metres in the T44 category at the Aviva London Grand Prix on Saturday.
Oscar clocked a time of 47.04 seconds at Crystal Palace, finishing more than four and a half seconds ahead of Britain's Ian Jones.
However, the double amputee, known as the 'Blade Runner' and a triple Paralympic champion, actually ran quicker in the able-bodied race on Friday night, finishing seventh in 46.93secs.
